Alicia Vikander Hasn’t Seen Her Oscar Since the Awards Show
Alicia Vikander hasn’t seen her Oscar since she won the best supporting actress trophy earlier this year for her work in “The Danish Girl.”
No, she didn’t lose it — but she told Kelly Ripa and co-host Alan Cumming on “Live with Kelly” that she has so far been able to spend only one evening with the trophy.
“We had a one-nighter,” the actress said, laughing. “I actually woke up the next morning and but then I had to go straight back to the ‘Jason Bourne’ set, and since then … I actually went straight onto a next project, so my friend in L.A. is taking care of him. I hope she’s doing a good job.”
“He’s been fostered … It’s like a dog — I love that,” Cumming quipped.
Ripa noted, “That’s a very Hollywood thing. ‘We’re fostering the Academy Award.'”
“‘We have a rescued Oscar,'” Cumming joked.
“Jason Bourne,” which also stars fellow Oscar winners Matt Damon and Tommy Lee Jones, opens Friday.
